This project was done for the team consisting of TH Vishnu, Anagha and Hari prasad as part of our 1st year semester & design project.
It dispenses water/liquid at the press of a switch till a pre-defined volume. The main specialty of this project was that it was made with waste materials.
Things used:
1)9v Air pump
2)Arduino nano
3)Push Switch
4)Relay
5)Tubes
6)Bottle
Working:
When the switch is pressed, Arduino switches on the relay which turns on the air pump and thus air is pumped to the air tight bottle. The bottle has 2 holes, 1 through which air is pumped and other though which the liquid is pumped out due to pressure. The volume was pre-set to that of a normal glass by timing the gap between On and Off of the air pump.
The relay turned Off automatically after the approximate time of filling the glass had reached.
This project was made within hours as it was the day just before the project expo😄
